LIFE INSPIRED

I am a Jamaican-Californian fine art painter, techie, educator, illustrator and animator.

Life Inspired is a call for our life’s work to be an inspiration to others, to impact those around us in a lasting and positive way.

Born and grown on the beautiful island of Jamaica, then migrated to San Francisco, California for over 9 years, recently returning to Jamaica to expand my experience and to contribute to art, technology, and education in my home country. I am currently a lecturer at the Edna Manley College of the Visual & Performing Arts in Jamaica, additionally, organizing and participating in showcases.

In San Francisco, California, I received my Masters of Fine Art degree in Painting from the Academy of Art University, and have showcased in both solo and prestigious group exhibitions. Also, in the summer of 2015, I studied, and showcased with my fellow classmates in Florence, Italy, which was an amazing and life changing experience. I will be showcasing my artwork in Jamaica and working with other Jamaican artists on the art scene, while continuing to expand my portfolio.

Prior to my migration to California, I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Computing: Information Technology with Multimedia specialization. Subsequently, over the years I have built on my technical skills in digital art & design, and other digital media using programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Adobe Premier Rush.
